Did You Know?

Using a mobile phone while driving is prohibited, except to make or receive a phone call or to use its audio/music functions provided the phone:

• Is secured in a commercially designed holder fixed to the vehicle, or
• Can be operated by the driver without touching any part of the phone

Using a phone as a navigational device/GPS while driving is prohibited unless it is secured in a commercially designed holder fixed to the vehicle. All other functions (including video calls, texting and emailing) are prohibited. Holding the phone (whether on a call or not) is also prohibited. Holding includes resting the mobile on the drivers lap.

Additionally, a driver must not drive a vehicle that has a television or receiver operating if any part of the screen is visible to the driver or is likely to distract another driver.

A driver may use a driver's aid such as a GPS, but it must be an integrated part of the vehicle design or secured in a commercially designed holder that is fixed to the vehicle.

Competition Details

The SPL EARTHQUAKE DB-15 'Wake The Dead' competition is presented by Ang's Audio Shop.

All entrants MUST use an EARTHQUAKE DB-15 Subwoofer.

$200 Entry Fee, which gets you:

• One EARTHQUAKE DB-15 Subwoofer
• T-Shirt
• Entry into 2 competitions

Competition Rules

• Entrants may only use 1 (one) EARTHQUAKE DB-15 Subwoofer in the competition
• Sub box can NOT extend past the B-Pillar
• Have Fun!

Only 25 spots are available for the competition, and all 25 spots must be filled for the competition to go ahead.

Event will consist of 2 competitions - overall winner is the entrant with the best result across both contests.

First event to be held late March/early April dependant on numbers.
